Dogfish Head 90 minute Imperial IPA
I tried this beer last week because I have heard so much praise for it on other beer websites. It was impressive but not really my type of beer. This is not to say it’s not a good beer, just not my favorite brew.
This beer poured a dark bronze, orange color into a clear glass with a white head that diminished slowly. It had a nose that was very fruity with some slight pine to it. You could feel the large amount of hops in the smell alone.
At first the taste was very bitter but smooth out with a citrusy finish. Also had a hint of pine in the back of the mouth. Lots of malts in this beer. A good beer if you enjoy strong bitter IPAs. Not my cup of tea though. Bottoms up.
